Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This policy explains, plainly, what happens to your photo and your data when you use Snapport. Because an ID photo contains your face, we treat your upload as sensitive and keep our handling of it deliberately minimal.

The short version: your uploaded portrait is sent to the AI image processor only to make your photo, is processed transiently, is never sold, is never used to train models, and is not retained by Snapport beyond your request. We do not keep a copy of your image or your result.

Your uploaded photo (face / biometric data)

When you generate a photo, your image is transmitted to our AI image processor — Google’s Gemini API — solely to produce the reformatted result you asked for. The result is returned to your browser, where the final crop, sizing and download all happen on your device. Snapport does not store your upload or your result on its own servers after the request completes, does not publish them to any gallery, does not sell or share them, and does not use them to train any model.

Your photo is sent to Google’s API to fulfil your request; Google’s handling of API data is governed by Google’s own terms and privacy practices. We send only the image and the formatting instruction needed to produce your photo.

Optional sample portraits (Pexels)

If the operator has enabled it, Snapport may fetch a few example stock portraits from the Pexels photo library to illustrate the homepage. This fetches public stock photos only — none of your data, and none of your uploads, are sent to Pexels.

What we store

Your account

When you create an account we store your email address, a securely hashed password (using bcrypt — we never store or see your plain-text password), and your credit balance, in a server-side database on our host. This lets your purchased credits work across devices, so you can sign in on any phone or computer and your balance is there.

You stay signed in via a secure, httpOnly session cookie. We never sell account data and never use it for advertising. You can delete your account and its data at any time by emailing xianhong2026@outlook.com.

Cookies

Snapport sets no advertising or tracking cookies. We use only a single functional httpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in, plus the functional localStorage described above, which keeps your guest credits and trial status on your own device.

Third parties we rely on

Your rights

You can clear your local data (credits and trial status) at any time from your browser. To ask about, or request deletion of, the minimal server-side delivery log associated with your IP or order, email xianhong2026@outlook.com with enough detail (such as your SNP- code or PayPal receipt) for us to locate the record.
